
Dr. Paul Barone is a graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and is a licensed physician in the state of New Jersey. He then attended Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he completed his internal medicine and cardiovascular disease fellowship program. He was honored by his mentors by being chosen as Chief Cardiology Fellow in his final year of fellowship.
Dr. Barone specializes in preventative cardiovascular disease including coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, valvular heart disease, structural heart disease, cardiac rhythm disorders, and hypertension and lipid disorders.
Dr. Barone is also an invasive cardiologist who performs cardiac catheterizations, trans esophageal echocardiograms, transthoracic echocardiograms, stress testing and pacemaker treatment and evaluations.
Dr. Barone strongly believes in giving patients the time to discuss their medical needs and providing holistic treatment options.
Dr. Oxana Ovakimyan is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also board certified in adult echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular ultrasound interpretation and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Ovakimyan graduated from Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry and completed Internal Medicine residency in Moscow, Russia. She re-located to the US in 2011 and completed her 2nd Internal Medicine Residency at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ and Cardiovascular Fellowship at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. After her fellowship, Dr. Ovakimyan went on to complete an advanced fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Brown University in Providence, RI.
Dr. Ovakimyan specializes in all aspects of cardiology, with a special focus in interventional cardiology. She performs cardiac and peripheral vascular catheterization and angioplasty/stenting. She has expertise in the management of complex coronary and peripheral arterial disease. She is especially passionate about women’s cardiovascular health.
Outside of practice, her hobbies include target archery and spending time with her family.
Dr. Sheth received her medical degree from State University of New York at Downstate in Brooklyn, NY and completed her residency in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital. She is currently completing her cardiology fellowship at Morristown Medical Center.
Dr. Sheth is a non-invasive cardiologist with expertise in cardiac critical care, advanced echocardiography, nuclear and vascular imaging. She is passionate about forming relationships with her patients that lead to long term mutual trust and shared decision making.
In her free time, Dr. Sheth enjoys painting, ballroom dancing and traveling. She has used her interest in travel in the past to take medical courses in Denmark, as well as study and work abroad in England.
Dr. Sheth is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
